Our Long-Standing Background with Cisco VoIP Technology
LCA Networks key personnel began engineering and delivering Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) systems to our customers since the very beginning of Cisco’s entry into the VoIP marketplace in 1998. Our experience dates back to when Cisco originally acquired Selsius Systems for their Wizard Call Manager product, later becoming known as Cisco Call Manager. In 1998, LCA personnel designed and installed the first Cisco Call Manager “Wizard” system for a large construction company in Northern New Jersey in 1998 after Cisco’s acquisition of Selsius.
As a result of this early adopter effort, Cisco selected LCA’s engineering personnel to internally deploy Cisco’s first-ever internal use of their new Cisco VoIP solution at their New York City Penn Plaza office and North American Headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. Supporting these internal deployment projects for Cisco led to our team’s co-development of Cisco’s “PPDIOO” model and development of the Cisco Unity “Dual-PBX” Integration product offering.
Since these early adopter efforts, LCA Networks personnel have supported many of the Federal Government’s deployments of Cisco Unified Communications (UC) systems in use today – including full scale Unified Communications installations at US Navy Port Hueneme, China Lake Naval Weapons Station, Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), Maxwell-Gunter AFB, Shaw AFB, NASA HQ’s, Air Force Reserve Command HQ’s, US Army/West Point, DHS/Transportation Security Agency (TSA), and many other federal agencies over the past 15 years. With over 150,000 Cisco UC End Points installed on Federal and DoD JITC certified systems, our team has the experience and knowledge to support all Federal Government Secured UC requirements.
